Flying the Tempest

Ok think I've tempestgotten the hang of it now. Fun plane to fly, needs lots of tweaking and has a horrible overheat problem. It's kinda cool that you have to monitor some of your gauges in order to get a little more out of her, boost, rpm and oil temp... Handles nicely too, good rate of roll combined with light controls and an okish zoom climb.

Didn't really get a feel for climb and turnrate but I think they're good enough for my needs, as long as I get some speed out of it I should be ok. Manual supercharger is a bummer as is the need for more trim, I'm spoiled from flying blue planes... Wink Dive was good especially when I lowered the pp to ~60%, caught up(!) with a D9 once, have never done that in a Jug... Shocked Firepower whas a little so and so to be honest, 109s were easy-peasy but there's hardly any to find nowadays... 190s were a different story... Out of the four I fired at tonight I got 1, despite massive hits on all of them... They just wouldn't go down...

Oh well, need more practiseVery Happy
